The Provincial Learning and Development team led by W.Bro. Kerry Parkes, ProvGL&DO are keen to activate the call for Lectures, in the 2026 Provincial Lecture Competition, providing you with as much time as possible to prepare your Lecture.
This offers an exciting opportunity for individuals to prepare a Masonic Lecture and then share it with an audience of Freemasons, including the judges.
Presentation to take no longer than 20 minutes and may be a subset of a longer Lecture.
Historically, this has been a well-supported annual event and we are attempting to prize it open a little by requesting all Worcestershire Freemasons Halls to become engaged.
The actual Lectures will take place during the month of April 2026 at Halls yet to be nominated pending the spread of applicants. It will be a logistical selection and held at accommodating Lodges during their regular April meeting.
To further encourage participation, the Learning and Development Team are offering their support with Subject Selection, Subject Research, Presentation Techniques both verbal and pictorial.
In the first instance just click the application form, complete the several short questions and submit. You will then receive a follow up call from the team to move your application forward.
You will have fun and enjoy unravelling some of those topics that intrigue you. Completing your task by sharing your knowledge to the benefit of others who are all keen for a daily advancement in their Masonic Knowledge.
