How it works

From as little as £5 per month, members are entered into a monthly prize draw – where if your number matches the BONUS BALL drawn on the first Saturday of every month in the National lottery, you will win 20 times your stake (e.g., £100 for a £5 entry) — but more importantly whilst also helping to fund vital charitable work.

Making a Difference Together – Worcestershire Freemasons Lottery

Charitable Donations.

At the end of 2023, we were able to confirm our final donation to the Festival 2022, which saw our total donated of more than £80,000. We have in the past, given support to a range of additional organisations which span well known charities - such as Macmillan Cancer Support, TLC Teddy Bears, and Troup Aid. Whilst we also gave more local support to the Worcester Cathedral Music Foundation, Worcester Cathedral Apprentice Stone Mason, P.G.L. Library & Museum Appeal, and the Triple Century Appeal amongst others.

We have now doubled down our support to where we can offer the most impact, those being the Midland Air Ambulance Charity (MAAC) and Acorns Hospice at Worcester.

Thanks to members generosity, this year, we donated £5,000 to Acorns Children’s Hospice and £3,000 to Midlands Air Ambulance, two of our long-standing partner charities. Acorns Hospice in Worcester continues to be a vital source of comfort and care for local families, and your support ensures they can carry on their invaluable work.

In October, during a visit to Acorns, we were proud to announce a long-term commitment: going forward, the Lottery will pledge £3,000 annually for the next ten years to both Acorns and Midlands Air Ambulance, ensuring ongoing support for the years to come.

Reaching Further Into Our Communities

Social value is at the core of Freemasonry, and during Easter 2025, we were pleased to donate £500 to the Kings Heath Food Bank. On Easter Saturday, our Chairman Derek Taylor accompanied the Provincial Grand Master to make the donation in person. One heartfelt moment stood out: a food bank client said, “I don’t know you, but I want to thank you for helping me put food on the table for my family this Easter — and for the first time in a long time, give my children an Easter egg.”

Moments like these are a powerful reminder of the real and lasting difference your support makes in the lives of others. To date, the Lottery has raised and distributed over £209,000 to charities, thanks to your continued participation.

We are always looking to grow our community of supporters so we can expand our charitable giving even further. The Lottery is open to everyone, not just Freemasons. Some of our most active promoters are wives, partners, family, and friends. If you know someone who may wish to join, we would be delighted to welcome them. Just help them complete an application form and return it to the address shown, or submit it by email along with the standing order form if completed online.
