Today’s meeting of The Worcestershire Installed Masters Lodge 6889 was very special, the Pro Grand Master Jonathan Spence gave a talk on the future of Freemasonry and the 7 year plan to a capacity audience of 170 masons in number one temple at Kings Heath Freemasons Hall. It was extremely well received and created a buzz of conversation about the points that he raised.
Our Provincial Grand Master Stephen John Wyer used the occasion to announce several changes in the Province:
WBro Jim Mulligan is taking over as the Provincial Grand Secretary and WBro Iain Sharratt is becoming the Provincial Grand Registrar.
The new Provincial Grand Wardens are WBro Derek Owen and WBro Rob Johnson.
The Provincial Grand Master then informed the Brethren that WBro. Patrick Firminger and WBro. John Crowther are stepping down as Assistant Provincial Grand Masters and WBro Justin Parker and WBro Paul Wong were announced as their successors.
Congratulations to all the above brethren we wish them well in their new offices.
This was a fabulous day which was enjoyed by all that attended.
