Running In Paris: Curry In Birmingham

Wythall Lodge No.5665 made a donation of £4,000 to Children with Cancer UK. The presentation was made by Charity Steward Paul Griffiths and his Son Alex who went through Cancer Treatment at the age of 9.

Alex ran the Paris Marathon raising over £2,000 for the charity. He then approached his father Paul to see if the Lodge could also support his fundraising work. Through collections, generous individual donations, match funding from the Worcestershire Freemasons Charity and a raffle/auction at a Sunday Lunch (Curry at Milans, Birmingham) raised the donation of £4,000.
